Audience statistics on Youtube

To continue our investigation about our target audience we went on You Tube and looked at the statistics related to our target audience. From this we can clearly see that our music video is a worldwide success as it has been seen in many different countries such as Singapore, France, United states of America… It is also watched on the go from mobile devices showing that our audience is very used to new technologies.

What we concluded from this feedback
We realised that our main audience were young females. This is not surprising as our video has a very fashion feel to it. However I was surprised by the lack of male audience to our video as it is focusing on the male gaze. However, when thinking about it is not so unusual as the sexual references are not very overt and therefore this may have taken away from our targeted male audience.
